crash-test-dummyAn introduction to a number of development practices, particularly discussing Unit Testing, Test Driven Development (TDD) and Behaviour Driven Development (BDD). The talk will focus on discovering what a unit test is, the how and why? We’ll then explore TDD and uncover the tools, benefits, steps involved and “move the mindset” into design. We’ll then introduce BDD and look at the differences, talking about how you can get started right away.

The talk is aimed at professionals involved in different aspects surrounding the development of software. The talk will be presented by Zakir Hoosen, from Fuzzelogic Solutions, who specialise in the provision of technology services over a range of different technologies and methodologies. We had an excellent time at the BCS Christmas Quiz with questions about a range of trivia and a special computer round that really got the juices flowing (thanks Graham). A special thank you goes out to WiManx and Central Software for generously donating prizes for the two quizes.

Here are some photos from the night
