The event comprised of presentations by IBM, Northdoor, and Itera on High Availability Systems and the convergence of technologies. There was coverage of issues such as clustering, data replication and mirroring, and Itera's presence ensured a suitably local slant. As this was a sponsored event, there were references to particular products at the end, but the usual BCS remit to ensure educational and informative presentations was predominate.
