Airport Control Tower, Ronaldsway Airport – Tour on 31st August

Our event for this month will be a visit to the Airport Control Tower, Ronaldsway Airport
The visit should last approximately 1 hour.
For safety reasons this event is limited to 20 people and preference will be given to BCS members. Therefore, book early.
As it is a standalone building airside, to get to it would mean requiring a security access and we will congregate at the entrance of the tower road, by the cargo buildings. For those unfamiliar with the area the following picture should assist.
Venue: Ronaldsway, Tuesday 31st August 2010. Assembly time 18:45 for an 19:00 start.
Announcement of 2010 Annual General Meeting

Please be advised that our 2010 AGM will be held on 23rd September in Douglas (in conjunction with a regular meeting with a professional speaker), as detailed in the attached Notice.
Just as important, we need members such as yourself to participate on our local BCS IOM Committee for 2010-11. Please see the attached Nominations document, which describes the roles and the necessarily somewhat formal procedures by which members can do so.
